Curlew is an ideal family getaway house. It has a downstairs bedroom with wet room which is ideal for less able guests and will readily take pets with an enclosed garden to the rear. New for this year is a great garden room with doors to the decked area giving a super family space to entertain. It provides contemporary well equipped accomodation and is just a few minutes drive from Brancaster beach with its car park & kiosk located very very close to the sand.

The property has ample parking to the front. The large enclosed sunny rear garden which adjoins open fields has a decked area with table and chairs. There is a charoal BBQ in the shed at the top of the garden.
Brancaster is known for its simply stunning beach. It stretches for miles backed by gentle sand dunes and the famous links golf course of The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club. Seals bask on the creek edges and children can safely paddle in the tidal lagoons. The tide goes out a long way revealing the shipwreck of the S S Vina (beware of strong tides and do not venture out!) The sand is perfect for sandcastles and picnics. Kite surfers provide exciting entertainment on windy days. Parking is a few yards from the beach and anyone who walks that little bit further will be rewarded with their own private stretch of sand! The Ship public house has recently been reopened under Chris Couborough The Flying Kiwi Chef to great reviews. Traditional icecream and lollies can be had from the booth on the beach! Wildlife along the coast is abundant and accessible, Marsh Harriers wheel overhead along with Avocets, Oyster Catchers and Terns. A trip would not be complete without tasting the famous mussels, in season when there is an 'R' in the month.
