“The barn was beautifully clean, well presented and well equipped. Plenty of televisions etc to entertain 5 adults and the bedroom with the tv was definitely a bonus with my mum 82 who is used to having her own room! Brilliant area to visit lots of attractions and stately homes, will definitely visit again. Also wonderful that The Barn allows well behaved dogs, that was truly a bonus. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was quiet, lovely garden and a really nice location.”

Local Area

Sculthorpe is a small village approximately 15 minutes from the coast, close to the market town of Fakenham.  It is home to the Sculthorpe Moor Community Nature Reserve created by the Hawk and Owl Trust.  The reserve, created to protect the very special habitat of the Wensum Valley is home to Marsh Harriers, kingfishers and otters. Fakenham a five minute drive away has all the usual facilities, including an excellent local market and auction every Thursday.  There is also the National Hunt Race Course that holds regular events throughout the year.
