  Albert's Cottage is a delightful 200 year old, south facing fisherman's cottage with a wealth of character throughout. It is situated in a superb location just 100m from the quay and 25m from the bustling main high street.  The cottage has been tastefully and sympathetically restored throughout and offers cosy and comfortable accommodation over two floors.  Downstairs is an open plan living area with exposed beams, woodburner and stable door opening onto the south facing courtyard garden, ideal for enjoying the afternoon and evening sunshine.  It is owned and managed by the owner of one of our most popular properties Sea Holly in Thornham.

Open Plan Living Area:  A charming room with exposed beams and log burner (full basket of logs supplied throughout cooler months).  Two seater sofa and two armchairs, flat screen TV/DVD with selection of DVD's.  CD player, games and selection of local books.  The dining area has an antique table and chairs. Stable door to garden and rear door leading to shop lane with direct access to the bustling high street.  The brand new well-equipped kitchen area has a black slate tiled floor, integrated oven & grill with ceramic hob and extractor hood.  There is plenty of cupboard space, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle & toaster.

 

Utility Room: In the shed in the garden which houses a washing machine.

 

 

Norfolk winder Stairs (Be aware these stairs are steep) to First floor:  

 

Master Bedroom:  A light and sunny south facing room with views over Elgars Row and the rooftops of Wells.  Comfy double bed with luxury feather duvet, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and chair.

 

Bedroom 2:  Double bed again with luxury feather duvet, bedside tables with lamps, and chest of drawers. 

Shower Room: Completely newly fitted out and tiled with shower, WC and basin.

 

Bed linen is provided but no towels.
Gas Central Heating
High Chair and Cot can be made available at the property.

 

Outside:  There is a small courtyard garden with a table, chairs & BBQ.  Parking is available on the road or in the car park nearby.

Local Area

Wells-next-the-sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forestA visit to Wells wouldn\'t be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish  and chip cuisine. Bicycle hire is available on the quayside. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham.
