Guest Reviews

“We have been visiting Wells for over 40 years, mainly self-catering, and we believe Mallards is the best of all our holiday bookings. The house is immaculate and the level of equipment is exceptional. Thank you for the generous “Welcome Pack”. It makes such a difference when you arrive at a strange house after a long drive and there is everything available for a cup of tea or coffee.”
Alan Pulham from Kenilworth, November 2011
“We have been renting holiday accommodation in Wells next the Sea for 40 years; sometimes on our own, sometimes with children and sometimes with grandchildren. Mallards proved to be the best of the best. It is a beautiful house with the highest possible level of furnishings and equipment. We are planning our return visit or visits as I write this.”
Alan Pulham from Kenilworth, November 2011
“I would like to say that the cottage Mallards was one of the best we have stayed in. The whole cottage was very well equiped, very comfortable and nothing was in short supply in the kitchen. We are already thinking of returning again next year as it had everything we needed and close enough to the town centre to go out in the evenings without taking the car. A real treat.”
Helen Kirk from Bedford, October 2011
“We had a lovely time at Mallards for Half Term. The house had everything we needed and was nicely presented. The ‘upside down’ arrangement of the accommodation works really well and is very cosy upstairs. We love being able to walk down Freeman St onto the quay. We would definitely come again! Our dealings with Norfolk Hideaways were very efficient and polite, we would definitely think of using you again. Many thanks.”

“Just lovely, so clean and comfortable. The owner has obviously given a lot of thought in providing everything needed for a truly wonderful holiday. Our little dog was welcomed too. Did not want to leave Wells and definitely will be back. ”
The Webster Family from Chigwell, July 2011
“A spacious and comfortable house close to the town centre and with the coast-hopper bus stopping virtually at the door. We found it very clean, warm and well equipped. One of the best pet-friendly holiday cottages we have stayed in. Would definitely return. ”
Denis & Pat Drury from Hayfield, Derbyshire, March 2011
