“Samphire Cottage is in an ideal base for exploring many destinations in north Norfolk including the lovely coast nearby. The cottage is in an inland location and its tastful interior has a lovely sea side feel. The roadoutside is quiet and near to the village green where our young children were able to let off steam, feed the many ducks and take advantage of the swings and slides. The cottage is warm, cosy, and light but there is lots of room to move around in comfort. Our children enjoyed using the Wii for the first time, and we all slept well in the comfy beds. The only negative for us was the bathroom, which would benefit from a proper shower and shower curtain. We have definatley got a taste for Norfolk and hope to return for another break.”

Guest Reviews

“Extremely well appointed cottage. Although the property has only been available since 2009 everything appeared almost as new, and touches reflected that this is a prperty used by the owners. Although the stairs could be conquered they would preclude the very young or the infirm. Excellent location, attractive village.”

“The cottage was a wonderful place to explore Norfolk and added to the enjoyment of our holiday. The large dining table was great to sit round as a family whilst cooking dinner after a hard day on the beach. The quality of the furnishings was excellent and one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The location was perfect with the playground being so close by it meant a daily visit after breakfast and an obligatory feeding of the very friendly ducks”
