“We spent a fantastic Christmas week at Mariners Cottage! The cottage was warm, spacious and well equipped with a lovely garden and the area was perfect. We had lots of long walks on Holme’s beautiful beach and also along the Peddars Way, both of which were easily accessible from the house. We also had trips to nearby Hunstanton and the delightful Wells Next the Sea. We were also very happy with the service of Norfolk Hideaways and wouldn’t hesitate to book through this website again.”

This single storey coastal property with pretty cottage gardens is situated just a stones throw from Peddars Way in Holm-next-the-sea. Having been extended in recent years the property now provides spacious and well appointed, modern accommodation providing a great base from which to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

Holme-next-the-sea has a village pub & childrens play area and access to a lovely wide, sandy beach. It is just a mile either way from Holme to the villages of Thornham & Old Hunstanton. Thornham has a farm & village shop, public tennis courts & playing field and 3 great village pubs. Old Hunstanton has a fabulous sandy beach, beach café, 2 fab village pubs, gourmet restaurant and village post office + deli.

Master Bedroom:  A charming room with attractive double bed,bedside tables & lamps and freestanding wardrobe. French doors open out onto pretty cottage gardens.

Family Bathroom: Complete with corner bath, and hand held shower attachment, WC and was hand basin.

Outside:  The property is access via a five bar gate  and is set back well from the road. There is a gravelled driveway with off-road parking for up to 3 cars to  the front of the property. A real feature of this property is the lovely pretty cottage gardens to the rear which is mainly laid to lawn with archways, mature trees and shrubs. There is also a spacious patio area with seating for 6.
