“Perfect for the three of us (Jessy is a great dane). The apartments location puts you just off Wells town high street, but less than 30 metres away from the sea front. The local pine forest walks and endless sandy beaches makes this one of our favourite spots for a short break, the parking is for one car only, and took a minute or two to work out correctly. The apartment is well stocked with all that any place could need to eat in or as we did, away; We found a lovely little local bistro pub in town and ate well for a very reasonable price. We will be booking again, and soon, writing this review makes us want to return. :-) ”

Curlew is a spacious ground floor apartment with outside seating area, in the heart of Wells conservation area. The apartment has been recently refurbished to provide modern comfortable accommodation in a super location & within a 2 minute walk to the Quayside and local amenities.

Kitchen: Bright and airy fitted kitchen with fridge, washing machine, built in electric oven, hob & microwave.

 

Sitting room: Spacious lounge/diner with comfy corner sofa (which converts to a double bed). Flat screen 32" tv with freeview/dvd player and electric wood burner effect fire. Table & chairs. DAB radio. CD player. Ipod station.

 

Bedroom:  Double bed with side tables and lamps. Wardrobe and chest of drawers.

 

Bathroom: Bright room with bath and electric shower, sink & WC.

  

Outside: There is a gravelled, shared courtyard area to the rear of the property with outside seating. Parking for one vehicle.

“We found Curlew appartment ideally situated to enjoy all that Wells-Next-The-Sea and the surrounding area has to offer. The apartment was a good size for the two of us, and well furnished with a welcoming and homely feel for a comfortable stay. On arrival it was very clean and tidy, and equipped with everything we needed (our only criticism being the lack of a shaver point in the bathroom). The nearest fish & chip shop is highly recommended!”

Local Area

Wells-next-the-sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest.  A visit to Wells wouldn\'t be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish  and chip cuisine. Bicycle hire is available on the quayside. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham.
