Bircham Windmill
Bircham windmill is our only working windmill open to the public in the area and what a windmill it is! It is definitely a must visit. You can climb up the five floors, up old wooden ladders and at the top you will be treated to a spectacular view over the Norfolk countryside. Only windy day the sails will be going round also.
Once you have worked up an appetite climbing up five floors you can treat yourselves to tea and a piece of lovely homemade cake back down on the ground.
Before leaving you must treat yourselves to a loaf of the homemade bread with flour ground at the mill - absolutely delicious.
They also have lots of memorabilia and often have craft fairs and events in the summer months.
