Primrose Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed holiday cottage located in the conservation area of Heacham on the Norfolk coast.  This pretty cottage is available for holiday rentals and short breaks throughout the year, sleeping up to 6 people.  It is conveniently located for the RSPB bird reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham, the bird observatory at Holme, National Trust reserve at Brancaster Staithe and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Welney.  It has been refurbished in a contemporary style and provides comfortable accommodation with a modern touch, the addition of a wood-burning stove makes it the ideal location for a cosy winter break.

Sitting Room:  A large airy sitting room with a cosy wood-burning stove, wooden flooring and comfortable seating.  There is a widescreen TV, DVD player, micro hi fi, a games console and a selection of books, DVDs and games.

 

Dining Room: The dining room contains an extendable table with seating for six and leads through tot the kitchen.

 

Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, radio, electric hob and oven.

 

First Floor

 

Double Bedroom 1: Overlooking the rear of the property this room has a double bed, built in wardrobe, full length mirror, bedside table and lamp.

 

Double Bedroom 2: Again overlooking the rear of the property, this room has a double bed, bedside table and lamp, full length mirror and tallboy for storage.

 

Twin Bedroom:  Large twin room with ample storage, full length mirror and bedside tables with lamps.

 

Family Bathroom:  Sink, WC, bath with electric shower over, window and heated towel rail.

 

Bed linen and towels are provided.
Heating is provided by wall mounted storage heaters.
High Chair available
Travel cot available from mid April 2012

 

Outside: There is unrestricted parking at the front of the property and a lawned area to the front of the coattage.  The back garden is bounded by apple treesa and a wire fence; has a paved area and steps leading up to a lawned area with a pretty summerhouse.  There is wooden garden furniture and also an outbuilding which can be used by guests to store bikes, beach equipment etc.

Local Area

Heacham is a great location for families with two unspoilt beaches, a range of shops and many places to eat, including a fish and chip shop and several pubs. Some of the nearby local attractions include, Norfolk Lavender, Snettisham Park Farm, RSPB Nature Reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, Sandringham House. Heacham Manor is now open with a newly designed championship 18 hole golf course with reasonable green fees. The North Norfolk coast is 5 minutes drive away through Old Hunstanton.
