“This is a beautiful house, situated in a lovely part of norfolk. It is particularly good for children. We had three kids with us and they absolutely loved it. Toys, kids dvds, cots, high chairs etc. are all provided. There is loads of space to run around with a sandpit and water play area in the garden. ”

Friday’s Barn is a beautiful family home in an enviable position at the edge of Salthouse village with stunning views across to the dunes and the sea to the front and unspoilt rural landscape to the rear. Recently renovated to provide extremely bright and spacious family accommodation the lovely open plan kitchen / dining room is the heart of the house. The whole ground floor of the house has lovely open views to the coast and the rear of the property has a completely enclosed garden with lawn and patio with garden furniture & BBQ.

Kitchen / Dining Room: Wonderful light spacious room, tastefully decorated and furnished, solid oak flooring and windows to both front and rear of the property. Large dining table and 8 chairs, two seater sofa, large Welsh style dresser, selection of childrens books & games, high chair. Well equipped kitchen with solid wood worktops, integrated induction hob, fan assisted oven with grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, butler sink ,Delonghi Cafe Treviso coffee maker, Wifi router and MP3 Docking Station.
Sitting Room: Another bright room with triple aspect windows. Comfortable three seater & two seater sofa, open fire, flat screen TV, DVD player & sky freeview channels.
To the other side of the kitchen is a small corridor leading to:
Master Bedroom: Lovely King Size painted iron bedstead, views out to the sea, side tables with lamps, chair, wardrobe with full length mirror and drawer under.
Family Bathroom: Tastefully decorated in sky blue, room comprises bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Shower Room: Large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, WC, wash hand basin and recess containing washing machine.

Double Bedroom: Bedroom in the eaves, double bed with side tables and lamps, chair, chest of drawers and dormer window to the rear of the property. The sloping ceilings in this room will require guests to bend slightly to get into bed.
Triple Bedroom: Twin full size single beds with lamps over and one further ful size single bed. Selection of books and games and dormer window to the rear of the property. There is a door at the end of this room leading to final double bedroom.
Double Bedroom: Double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, chair & dormer window.
Bed linen and Towels are provided.Oil Fired Central Heating High Chair at the property and a travel cot can be provided on request.
Outside: There is off road parking on the drive to the side of property for two cars, security light, a fully enclosed garden with a gate comprising a lovely shade tree, patio with garden furniture & BBQ and lawn with rotary drier.

Salthouse is a picturesque village located on the North Norfolk Coast just north of the small market town of Holt, and just east of Blakeney and Cley.
Salthouse is a situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and overlooks the salt marshes next to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Cley. Clustered around the village green are pretty cottages, a pub with a large front garden that looks directly over the salt marsh, Cookies Crab Shop offering platters of seafood, salads, sandwiches and ice cream. East of the village, past the village pond, is a cottage where you can buy Fish & Chips during the summer months.
The magnificent church of Salthouse holds regular art exhibitions and concerts throughout the year. A new shop has recently opened called The Old Post Office selling local produce including beef from the cattle grazed on the marsh.
The beach is mainly pebble and shingle, but unlike other parts of the Norfolk coast, the tide does not go out very far. Parking is easy and it is perfect for a picnic.
