Church Barn is a large, attractive & spacious traditional brick and flint barn conversion situated in a peaceful location, set well back from any road noise with extensive landscaped gardens and open views. Benefiting from a 10m x 5m fully enclosed private outdoor heated swimming pool and about 3000sq feet of living accommodation, Church Barn is the perfect retreat for a relaxing family holiday. Syderstone is a picturesque village, which offers a local pub and the beautiful Syderstone Common (one of only two inland sites in the UK where the rare natterjack toad is still found) is within easy walking distance of the Barn. Extensive walking paths can be accessed directly from the property and can lead you as far as Burnham Market. Both the bustling Georgian village of Burnham Market and Fakenham are within a 10 minute drive away. North Norfolk’s stunning beaches are within a 15 minute drive away.

 

Accommodation

Ground Floor:

Hall: Spacious area with stairs and galleried landing.
Downstairs toilet and separate cupboard for coats.

 

Sitting Room: Super  family room with Inglenook-style fireplace and wood burning stove, beamed ceiling, interior wooden shutters and French doors opening onto patio, pool and garden area. Sky TV, video, CD/cassette/radio. There are also, plenty of books, games, videos, CD's and DVD's to choose from.

 

Dining Room:  Beamed with dining table & chairs seating 9 & overlooking pool. Hatch through to kitchen.

 

Kitchen:  Well-equipped spacious farmhouse style kitchen with table & chairs. Electric hob, separate eye-level double oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, slow cooker and radio.

 

Utility Room:  Washing machine & tumble dryer & sink.

 

Games Room:  With full size table tennis table and sofa for spectators.

 

First Floor:

 

Master Bedroom:  Lovely room with dual aspect windows offering far reaching views. 6' double bed, TV & radio.  En-suite bathroom:   separate cubicle with power shower, WC, hand basin, beamed sloping ceiling.

 

Bedroom 2:  Double bed, built-in wardrobes & beamed sloping ceiling. Wardrobe with hanging and drawer space.

 

Bedroom 3:  Twin beds, beamed ceiling, chest of drawers

 

Bedrooms 4, 5 and 6:  All good sized rooms with single beds, built-in wardrobes and beamed slightly sloping ceilings.  Chest of drawers in each.

 

Family Bathroom:  Newly refurbished for 2012.  Contemporary bathroom with bath and shower over, Wc Basin. Tiled.

 

The property has oil fired central heating.
Bed Linen and towels are provided (but not swimming towels)

Travel Cot, High Chair & Stairgates are available.
 
 

Outside:

Good sized and attractive mature grounds surround the property, including a patio with garden furniture & barbecue.

Open from 25th June 2012 to last week August only
Pool temp.approx. 29c/85f.
Please bring your own swimming towels.

Local Area

SYDERSTONE is a traditional Norfolk village 

situated 6 miles south of Burnham Market and approximately 10 miles from the coast. The village is well known for its surrounding common and Norfolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve, designated an SSSI (site of special scientific interest). It is one of only two remaining inland breeding sites in England of the natterjack toad.
