East Rudham is a pretty Norfolk village just 20 minutes drive from the North Norfolk coast.  It is well served with an excellent pub called The Crown owned by celebrity chef Chris Couborough.  There is also a lovely gift shop and tea room serving yummy cakes, an excellent butcher and small village shop.  The market town of Fakenham is a 10 minute drive with its busy market and auction on Thursdays.  Sculthorpe nature reserve with excellent birdwatching is 5 minutes away.  They have many excellent events through the year, see their website.
