“What a beautiful cottage. We had an absolutely fabulous time. The weather was lovely and the walks were perfect, just a shame to come home and back to reality. We will have no hesitation in booking again and will recommend Pimpernel to everyone. Thank you again for letting us use the cottage. ”

“What a wonderful cottage and area. Peter was so helpful when we wanted to book the cottage, and our puppy Maisie loved it. No doubt that we will be coming back as Mark proposed here- so a very special place The cottage is so welcoming and there is so much to do here. Thank you”

“Beautiful little cottage, extremely comfortable. We had a lovely stay and feel thoroughly relaxed. We had some very enjoyable meals, especially at the White Horse on the High Street. We had some fantastic walks; up to Morston for lunch at the Anchor is particularly good. Looking forward to returning already - thanks”

“A lovely cottage in a very centrally located position. Easy access to wherever you want to go during the day and very homely to return to. Plenty of beautiful places to visit with the dog and folk around here are certainly dog friendly. Couldn’t decide who had the best beer-battered fish: the White Horse or the Anchor Inn. Definitely coming back to Norfolk, so much to see and do.”

“ Thank you for providing a beautiful cottage. Several people asked if they could photograph the courtyard during our stay as the hollyhocks were so lovely. ”

Local Area

Blakeney is one of the jewels on the North Norfolk coast, a mecca for sailors, birders, artist and walkers.  Something really for everyone.  The harbour is picturesque and always bustling with children (and adults!)) gillying for crabs.  Take the sea defence wall walk over the saltmarsh and you will be rewarded with simply stunning views. The village is a maze of winding streets and tiny fishermens cottages.  Great places to eat and enjoy the local sea food.
