The Coach House is a wonderful romantic bolthole in the grounds of a period vicarage in the heart of the Royal Sandringham Estate village of Flitcham.  Beautifully presented and restored to a very high standard, the property is a perfect retreat from the bustle of the main coastal villages.   It is a short drive from the North Norfolk beaches and surrounded by beautiful countryside.  The lanes are quiet and perfect for cycling or walking.  The upstairs suite offers uninterrupted views over the fields.  Sandringham House, HM The Queen’s country house,  is just 2 minutes away.  This is a very special place to stay indeed with fluffy bathrobes, slippers and a woodburner in the bedroom. 

Accommodation: 

Ground floor: 

Entrance Hall:  Pretty area with arched mirror and table.

Kitchen:  Recently fitted, hand painted country style kitchen, well equipped.  Cream Everhot cooker. Microwave, washing machine.  Dining table for 2

Bedroom 1:  Double bed, bedside table and lamps and walk in wardrobe.

Bathroom: Fabulous bathroom with roll top bath,  walk in separate shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.  A real retreat and escape!  Complimentary toiletries from The White Company. Lovely fluffy bathrobe.

Stairs to first floor:

Bedroom Suite/Sitting area:

A simply wonderful space with uninterrupted views over the fields.  Comfortable seating area at one end of the room with woodburning stove, fireplace with antlers above. Sofa and chair. Ambient lighting with pretty lamps. Period furnishings.  TV and DVD player. At the other end is a beautiful king sized bed dressed with Egyptian cotton linens.  Lie in bed with the fire going!  The room is furnished in a real country house style, complete with historical references to Sandringham House, including photographs. 

Outside:

The Coach House has its own parking area outside and a pretty, mainly lawned garden, all surrounded by The Vicarage’s wonderful formal gardens.  There is garden furniture available for al fresco dining.
