“Cottage was brilliant, everything we needed for a great holiday. Seemed to me to be good value compared to other properties in the UK. We had great weather, and that added to the generally good feeling about Norfolk, thank you once again for the efficient and professional way your company handled our booking. Will recommend you to friends and family. ”

Local Area

Burnham Overy Staithe is home to Overy Staithe Sailing Club.  There is a comprehensive chandlery on the quayside.  The creek is spectacular in all weathers and the walk along the sea bank to the beach is very special.  Overy beach is deserted and wildlife is abundant.  Miles of sand backed by high sand dunes make it a desolate but incredible place. In season terns nest here on the beach and are protected by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.  The Hero pub and restaurant is a couple of minutes walk from the quayside and provides hearty and wholesome food.  The Norfolk Coast path runs through Overy Staithe.  The black windmill is a true North Norfolk landmark and dominates the skyline for miles.  This is owned by the National Trust.
