Many thanks to the welcoming owner for the provisions on our arrival & all the little details she has thought of to make sure we wanted for nothing. We have enjoyed our walks along the various beaches & exploring the local area. A very enjoyable (& comfortable) week. We would not hesitate to recommend 'Morley' to anyone.”

“Morley is a beautiful cottage, it was a delight to explore when we arrived. It has a great enclosed back garden for the children to kick a ball around and privacy with no overlooking neighbours. As well as a great front garden with fruit trees, a graveled gated driveway and several seating areas to watch the birds from. The Cottage is lovely and is well stocked for any arrivals, including eggs, bread, fruit, milk and butter and coffee, tea, sugar supplies along with the essential cleaning products for doing the dishes, the clothes or general cleaning up, we really didn’t need the extra box of foodstuffs we brought with us! The owner is a lovely lady and really made us feel comfortable ensuring that we had everything we needed and had found the baby accessories (highchair and travel cot) in the relevant cupboards as well as helping us with some rainy day activities and vouchers for the children. There was ample games for kids, some DVD’s we hadn’t even seen and a good supply of paperbacks. It’s a truly wonderful cottage that makes a lovely holiday home for a family with an owner who cares. Ringstead is a small village, its off the main road so no through traffic just local traffic which is hardly any that we noticed. There is an excellent pub/bistro restaurant called the Gin Trappe which is located all of a 20 second walk away with a varied menu for the adults and the children. The local shop is worth a visit on a rainy day. Not only does it stock your essentials but has a fantastic Ale and Wine Cellar, quirky teas and produce from all over the county…no the country! It then has around 7 rooms (I think they’re may have been more), full of antiques and gifts. There appears to be something for everyone from a natty little gift for home, to garden accessories and antiques of all types and some lovely bright shiny things for the girls. There is a room full of old (antique old) books and a cellar full of china and ceramics. Apparently people come from all over the area to shop there and I can see why it really is like the olde curiosity shoppe. Ringstead is only 5 minutes drive from the coastal towns of Hunstanton and Heacham and is only 10 minutes from the beautiful nature reserves at Blakeney. We loved our stay at Morley and if ever we come back to Norfolk for a holiday we’ll be booking in again. ”

“A lovely comfortable homely and surprisingly large cottage in a quiet village location. Very large comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, and large master bedroom. Very well equipped, a real home from home, and very clean and tidy, Great base for exploring the North Norfolk coast, Sandringham etc. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anybody. ”
