Surrounding local area

Docking is a pretty village just five miles from the coast and beautiful Brancaster beach with its sand dunes and seals, the latter of which can be seen if you walk far enough. Just a mile down the road (or a 40 minute walk along the coast path) from Brancaster beach, you'll also discover Brancaster Staithe harbour with its sailing facilities and fabulous fresh fish stalls, plus two very different pub/restaurants; The Jolly Sailors which is very family-friendly and the more sophisticated White Horse pub/restaurant which boasts fine views over the marsh towards Scolt Head Island and the most amazing sunsets. Trendy Burnham Market is only a short drive away too, where you'll find some wonderful independent shops and restaurants. Head to nearby Stanhoe to enjoy a fabulous meal at The Duck Inn (the Sunday roasts are particularly good) or drive a little further afield to discover Holkham Hall and beach, Wells-next-the-Sea and Holt. Docking is great for cycling and the National Cycle Route No.1 passes through the village. For the more adventurous, head to Hunstanton and enjoy the watersports on offer, or on a windy day, nothing is better than flying a kite on Brancaster beach. With the whole of the North Norfolk coast in easy reach you can easily get to Cromer, where you will be rewarded with one of the best end of pier shows, some of the best fish and chips and a fabulous drive through some of the prettiest of villages in East Anglia.

Beautiful property with everything you could possibly need and more. One of the most comfortable properties we have ever stayed in. Finished to an extremely high standard and spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful week here.
