Surrounding local area

Located a few minutes from the coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Burnham Market is for many people the jewel in North Norfolk's crown. A stunning Georgian village with a green surrounded by 18th century houses, shops, chic boutiques and of course The Hoste Arms, one of the best known and most popular places to eat and drink in North Norfolk.

The village has a range of amenities including doctors’ and dental surgeries, pharmacy, primary school and post office as well as an abundance of small village independent shops including butcher, fresh fish shop, bookshops, art galleries, a good wine merchant, Satchells, and a popular delicatessen, Humble Pie. The village playing field has all weather tennis courts.

This trendy village has become ever-poular over recent years due to its location to the sailing harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe and the Royal West Norfolk Golf Course at Brancaster.

The nearest beach is at Brancaster which is a short five minute drive away.

Beautiful Cottage

Easter Cottage is beautiful. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
Location is a little further out than anticipated and walking into Burnham Market would of taken a little longer than thought but no problem with a car.

This is the first time that we have used your company but if this is the standard adopted by all of your properties, we shall certainly be coming again! Easter Cottage is a beautifully clean and well equipped property with a sizeable but secure lawned garden for our large, quiet but rather nosey dog. We have stayed elsewhere with other companies where the property has indeed been 'dog friendly' but sadly had huge gaps in perimeter fencing near main roads or (in one instance) ranch-style fencing with access to a field of horses, which meant that every time the dog needed to go out, we had to stand guard, regardless of the weather. Because the Easter cottage garden is predominantly lawn, it is easy to spot where the dog has been and keep it tidy. The property is beautifully clean and the owners very kindly left some wine, crisps, croissants, tea and coffee, which meant we didn't have to rush straight out when we arrived but could have a breather after the journey. Lovely walks and interesting places within easy reach by foot or car (short drives). We will certainly be back.

Currently hoping to find a Thursday afternoon to Monday morning stay in early Feb 2018 but not sure if thus property does long weekends. Anyway, thank you for a brilliant holiday. Kevin
