Property details

This cute little 'by the sea' hideaway is literally a hop, skip and a jump from the water. A newly-renovated and styled ground floor apartment, it is literally in touching distance of the harbour. You couldn't find a closer spot in the ever-popular village of Burnham Overy Staithe where you can sail, walk to the beach or try your hand at 'crabbing' from the quay!

In one of the most sought after spots, right on the coastal path, this little bolt hole is ideal for a couple, who wish to stay in an unrivalled location.

Part of the owner's property, it is a comfortable base to explore the whole North Norfolk coast, but ideal for those who want to have everything on their doorstep too. As well as the harbour, sea and sand, you are just a five minute walk to The Hero gastro pub/restaurant, where good food is served all day.

Perfect for sailors or walkers, this abode will prove a delight in the summer. With a light and airy feel throughout, it's a great place to return to after a busy day and there is a BBQ, an outside terrace and seating to relax and enjoy the large garden that you can also use throughout your stay.

If your party is larger, then consider booking Fishers Lodge, Mays Way Flat, or Anchors which are all located within the grounds of the owner's property. All share the same unique location.

Surrounding local area

Burnham Overy Staithe is just delghtful. A small coastal village with a good pub/restaurant, it is home to Overy Staithe Sailing Club. The creek is spectacular in all weathers and the walk along the sea bank to the beach is very special. Although you can't see it, Overy beach is in walking distance and is often deserted and wildlife is abundant. Miles of sand backed by high sand dunes make it a wonderfully stunning but incredible place. In season terns nest on the beach and are protected by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The Hero pub and restaurant is a couple of minutes walk from the quayside and the property and provides good food which is served all day.. The Norfolk Coast path also runs through Overy Staithe, so if you are a keen walker you can pull on your walking boots and explore further. Burnham Overy Staithe is also home to the National Trust-owned black windmill, a true North Norfolk landmark which dominates the skyline for miles. From Burnham Overy Staithe you can explore the whole of the North Norfolk coast and you're also in easy reach of beautiful Holkham and its fabulous beach and also chic and trendy Burnham Market and only a short drive to gorgeous Wells-next-the-Sea with its famous fish and chips, narrow guauge railway and fun beach huts. Head out from Burnham Overy Staithe to Scolt Head Island or drive along the coast to Blakeney or Morston where you can catch a boat to see the seals.
