This lovely luxury cottage, beautiful in every way, is just perfect for those wanting to hide away from it all, but also want to be close enough to explore both beaches at Heacham and the lovely North Norfolk coastline.

A lovingly converted old stable block, it boasts gorgeous wooden and stone flooring throughout the ground floor and with four spacious bedrooms (one on the ground floor) it makes a wonderful weekend retreat for a group of friends or multi-generational families.

The large sitting room boasts a huge beam, salvaged from London’s docklands, which runs the entire length of the barn and the huge woodburning stove means you’ll be warm and toasty during winter months. Curl up on the large sofa with a good book or just gaze out of the masses of windows that overlook a fish pond and the beautiful English country courtyard garden. Cook up a decadent supper in the stunning bespoke kitchen and then enjoy in the sumptuous dining area with a large wooden table and seating for eight. After which wander up the staircase, one of the focal points of this beautiful retreat, where you will find three super spacious bedrooms with vaulted beamed ceilings, luxury linens, cushions and throws. The king size bedroom has a glass door to a Juliette balcony which overlooks the outside space. Adults and children alike will also love the games room, where you can enjoy a game of pool or just relax and watch TV.

The garden is fully enclosed, giving you the feeling of being tucked away from the outside world yet it is only a short walk to the beach and centre of the bustling little village of Heacham with its shops, pubs and restaurants.

Guest reviews

We have had a great break here at The Stables. Family of 9 including 5 and 10 year olds. Beautiful house that has been finished to a very high standard. Spent a lot of time in Hunstanton and Norfolk Lavender to keep kids entertained. Thank you for having us.

Amazing welcome - beautifully set out with lights, levels and a lovely welcome pack. Fantastic that there were also plenty of herbs and spices, all conveniences. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. We have had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of being here - from the pool table to the fishes, the wonderful kitchen and of course the fabulous outdoor seating area. Many thanks.
