Guest reviews

Nothing to far from this cottage to visit north west Norfolk. Lots of pretty villages and long stretches of sandy beaches, Holkham beach was a favourite. Everywhere very dog friendly. Enclosed garden was a plus and the cottage itself has everything you could need including the basic kitchen items/coffee/tea/condiments/spices etc.

Back again after two years. Just as we remember it, but Grandson two years older and just as energetic. Finally got to visit Norfolk Lvender - and can recommend the Ale. Beware of Hunstanton/ Heacham fish and chips - they all came to close by 8.00. Despite that, we had a relaxing time and no-one (especially william) wanted to go home.

This is our second visit to Honey Cottage and it was just perfect for our Easter visit to Norfolk. Thank you so much for the goodies and the Easter treats for the children, very thoughtful and a lovely touch. As always we enjoyed the beautifl beaches and had pub food at The Duck in Stanhoe and The Gin Trap in Ringstead, The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe and nice tea and cake at Norfolk Lavender.

What a super 5 days we have had. Lovely blue skies and sunshine. Gorgeous beach walks with Elsa (Black lab) and Honey Cottage sparkling from her 'spring clean'. Everything 1st class in the cottage. Thank you and we hope to visit again. Thank you for the welcome package, what a lovely thought.

We have had a wondeful holiday in your warm welcoming cottage at the Norfolk coast. Dogs are exhausted from exploring Holme, Holkham, Wells sands and Ringstead being the favourite. We know the area well and this cottage is just the right position to visit favourite places. Treats on arrival were excellent - thank you.

Thank you for the welcome provisions, and the little extras that we would normally expect to find in a hotel, all of which were very much appreciated. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We have not wanted for anything whilst staying here. A nice situation for exploring the West and North of Norfolk, we particularly enjoyed visiting Sandringham and Holkham and Wells, We appreciated all the infomation in the cottage of places to visit, particularly the maps and walking book, and as it is our first time in visitng Norfolk, we still have plenty to do. Weather has been kind to us - Sunny for most of the time but when the wind blows from the east - it feels like winter! We enjoyed our time here, Thank you.

We booked for a week but sadly had to cut short our stay due to work commitments. Lovely time had by all. Holkham beach and food festival. Pony ride for Matilda at Hunstanton, Crabbing at Wells, Blakeney. Sandcastles at Brancaster. Lots of fabulous seafood and diary ice cream - even fig and mascarpone! Norfolk is beautiful and unspoilt ie Cromer. Comfortable cottage, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. Lovely to have 2 towels and a shower plus bath! So nice to have a soak after a day on the brach. Cottage is very well equipped, everything you need and a quiet location for exploring Norfolk. Even a welcome gift from the very helpful owners.

Honey Cottage is fabulous! After many weeks of searching for a cottage, we definatley chose well. Spotless and welcoming and a great location. The kids loved playing in the garden. Norfolk is such a great place to explore, we loved Wells and Holkham beach, did the seal trip at Blakeney, was amazing. Highly recommend a trip to langham glass to make your own glass reminder. Now back to Suffolk (so not too far) but will be back.

A lovely few days in sunny Norfolk! Rosies first holiday. She came here in November 2015 still in my tummy. We took Rosie to Brancaser Beach to see the sea, a trip to Burnham Market and then for a walk round Sandringham. We all love it here and cant wait to come back.

“Honey Cottage was spotless when we arrived and we loved all the homely touches. This cottage is perfect for children/dogs as the garden is completely enclosed by the lockable gates on the drive. Location is superb with only a short drive to so many of the fabulous North Norfolk beaches like Brancaster, Holkham and Wells. The village pub is a few minutes walk away but be sure to book a table as they do not treat you the same if you arrive without a booking! Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a holiday or short break to this lovely part of the U.K. ”

Cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in! Well Appointed and equipped. Lovely decorative touches. Blue skies, sun and an icy wind - great walking weather. Met firends on Holkham Beach South, finally got to visit Castle Rising and King Williwm pub having passed many-a-time, oh and Norfolk Lavender!! Fabulour walk from here to Old Hunstanton via tha Gin Trap at Ringstead and Holme, and back again, almost tiring out Woody-the-dog!
Have very much enjoyed our stay here and glad we still have the weekend at the Ship in Brancaster to top it off or else would be crying!! Having lived in Norfolk for a short while we can't stop ourselves coming back to this beautiful county, despite having the cornish and welsh coast on our doorstep. Highlight of our hols was out walk to Hunstanton as we didn't touch the car all day. Highly recommend Saffron Gin and the food at The Gin Trap. Great week! Feeling chilled!
