Property details

This lovely apartment is situated in a small, exclusive gated development in the popular coastal village of Old Hunstantion.

Sandringham Grove is tucked quietly away on the edge of the village and was recently constructed in the style of a traditional farmyard setting, with farmhouse, cottages and barn style dwellings. Super convenient for local shops, pubs and restaurants, and just a short walk away from Hunstanton's beautiful, wide open sandy beach. A Shore Thing is a first-floor apartment, furnished in a fresh, contemporary boutique style and has an extremely well-equipped kitchen with plenty of modern appliances. The open plan comfortable living space, and two king-size bedrooms (one can be made up as a twin), will appeal to small families, couples and friends looking to spend time in this part of North West Norfolk at any time of year.

A great location for lots of activities, be it making sand castles, playing hide and seek in the sand dunes, hiring a beach hut, swimming, kite surfing, golfing (two superb courses nearby), bird watching or visiting Royal Sandringham, A Shore Thing will not disappoint. It is also a great base from which to explore further afield and, if you feel like leaving the car behind, catch the Coasthopper bus, which passes by on its way from Kings Lynn to Cromer and back.

Surrounding local area

Old Hunstanton is a rarity along the North Norfolk coast in that you can get very close to the beach without walking a long way over the salt marshes! Miles of sand, gentle sand dunes and beach huts make this a perfect family seaside holiday destination. For the more active Old Hunstanton has become a mecca for Kite Surfing. Hunstanton Golf Course, a challenging links course is voted amongst the top 100 courses in Britain. There are great places to eat, all within walking distance of our holiday cottages, including The Neptune a Michelin Star restaurant, The Lodge Hotel and a lovely traditional beach cafe serving a good fry up! The lifeboat station is a good place to visit and maybe see in action. The hovercraft being launched is a sight wellworth seeing!

Guest reviews

Bright, comfortable apartment in excellent location 1 mins from nice pub, 5 mins walk from beach

This was everything we needed for us and our young family (aged 3 and 4). Bright, spacious apartment with all the facilities we needed. The Lodge bar and restaurant next door was family-friendly with a good playground. Opposite is another great playground and a road leading straight to the sandy beach (5 minute walk) with a lovely beach cafe, lifeboat station and sand dunes to explore. It's quieter than neighbouring Hunstanton but that suited us. We enjoyed exploring the clifftop walk in Hunstanton and the sensory park. A great base to explore all the fantastic beaches, pubs and market towns in the area. Don't miss out on a meal at Shucks yurt at Droves Orchard, the beach and park at Holkham, seeing seals from Morston Quay, Cromer, Wells etc

Lovely holiday apartment! Clean, bright and nicely furnished. Excellent location, 10 mins from old Hunstanton beach and a couple mins from a great children's playground. Lots of things to do in the area. We didn't know Norfolk at all, but we're so impressed with its beautiful beaches and pretty villages. We would love to come back!
