Property details

The Coach House is a wonderful romantic bolthole in the grounds of a period vicarage in the heart of the Royal Sandringham Estate village of Flitcham. Beautifully presented, and restored to a very high standard, the property is a perfect retreat from the bustle of the main coastal villages.

It is a short drive from the North Norfolk beaches and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The lanes are quiet and perfect for cycling or walking. The upstairs suite offers views over the Sandringham estate. Sandringham House, HM The Queen’s country house, is just 2 minutes away. This is a really special place to stay with fluffy bathrobes and slippers, a wood burner in the bedroom, and fresh scones and homemade jam on arrival.

We have loved driving along the country roads and discovering duck ponds, windmills, beaches and pretty villages. Enjoyed looking at the photos and books and cooking on the Everhot. Peaceful and comfortable.

Our great stay at the Coach House. This was our second stay at the Coach House for an extended period, 3 weeks this time, 6 weeks 3 years ago.
Coming from Australia, this again felt very homely and comfortable with everything required. Whenever we come come again for family visiting in the UK up in this area this is the only place we will stay.

Our second visit here- we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Norfolk. Three glorious weeks- visiting family, the coats, sights, the houses as we also said in 2015- we shall stay for more of Kaieu and Bills hospitality.

Thank you for a wonderful week in your beautifully appointed Coach House. A fantastic location, tranquil and a real 'home from home' environment. We enjoyed all your 'must sees and dos' in beautiful North Norfolk- a really unspoilt corner of the UK. We have enjoyed spectacular sunsets this week and beautiful sightings of those puik fools geese. Thank you too to your very kind housekeeper for helping with the wifi code and to the friendly gardener checking up to see if we were ok and happy with our stay.
