There are several great places to eat including The Village Deli, selling all manner of local produce and great coffee, The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, The Orange Tree a gastro pub and The Coach House selling pizza and pasta. Our first stay at Rosedale, and we will certainly be back. Really comfortable and we love Thornham. North Norfolk is a favourite of ours and we come every summer - but there are still new things to see, together with old favourites. A great week, Thank You.

We have had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It's a wonderful, spacious, comfy house. The children have loved the garden and the DVD collection! We have stayed in this area for holidays six times now it's a beautiful part of the country, the beaches and the villages. There is lots to do with a young family. We revisited old favourites, Wells-next-the-Sea, Pensthorpe Park, Brancaster and Wells beaches, seal trip at Blakeney, pub dinners with great gardens for children at The Orange Tree, The Rose and Crown (Snettisham) The Jolly Sailors (Brancaster) coffee and a play at Thornham Deli. We also discovered new places - Drove Orchard, apple picking and Eric's fish and chips and The Gin Trap at Ringstead. We didn't even get to fit in old favourites, the lavender farm or Bircham windmill or Holkham! We must stay longer!

Our second stay in Rosedale. Again, a great time! The house is really comfortable with everything we needed. The garden is great for relaxing as so peaceful. Many thanks for the flowers and chocolates and Bracken thanks you for his treats too! Weather has been fabulous so we've all had plenty of exercise, great walks from the doorstep. We do hope to come back in the not too distant future. Thank you, Jenny.

Our second visit to Rosedale. The property was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed, very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The flower, chocolates and treats for our dog were especially thoughtful and much appreciated. We saw a barn owl on our first evening stroll and that set the tone. The weather could not have been better and with great walks from the doorstep we had a very relaxing week. We do hop to return in the not too distant future.

An enjoyable family holiday. Rosedale is a lovely dog friendly property sleeping 6 situated in the pretty village of Thornham. It is well equipped and has very comfortable beds. The owners Dan and Jen are very helpful and on hand to sort out any problems. Good eateries in the village including the award winning pub "The Orange Tree" and fish and chips from Eric's can be highly recommended. Good coastal walks a short drive away and brilliant sandy beaches at Brancaster and Old Hunstanton. A very relaxing holiday was enjoyed by the whole family.

Lovely warm house, great view. Thank you for a lovely stay, four fabulous days then the 'beast from the east' hit Tuesday afternoon, the coldest we have ever experienced in Norfolk. We still managed to go on a good walk every day around this wonderful coastline. We hope to return to Rosedale again.

Thanks Jenny for letting us stay at Rosedale at very short notice. We have had a great week walking, rain mainly overnight so managed to complete a few further sections of the Peddars Way and revisited some old routes. The Lifeboat Inn is a favourite very cosy and friendly- food good. The Red Lion at Stiffkey -food very good and dog friendly. Rosedale has everything anyone could wish for, thoughtfully equipped, nice furnishings and clean! Our 2 one year old whippets have enjoyed the garden - the squirrel family and pheasants living over the fence were exciting entertainment! Also the fab beach at Thornham was a bit hit. The goodies and flowers were a lovely thought. Best Wishes, Pete, Di, Alfie and Zak

We have had another lovely week at Rosedale. It's a pleasure to arrive somewhere and not have to get the hoover out straight away as the property is spottless. We also love the totally secure garden (these are issues we have had in other rental properties|). We will definitely be back.

This cottage was well situated for what we wanted for a 5 day break. it was clean, comfortable and we all slept well as the beds were very comfy. the local pubs offered a good choice and all within a nice walking distance, the walk out to beach early morning meant we were the only people there. Big Sky Country... can't beat it. Would be happy to stay there again.

Only two of us, so plenty of room. We particularly liked the fact that though it takes dogs there was still a nice carpeted dining and living area. So many properties are bare boards or tiles when they take dogs.

This was our second stay at Rosedale. We enjoyed staying there so much we had to go again. The property is well equipped, homely and very comfortable. Another very enjoyable stay in Rosedale. We've spent alot of time at Titchwell RSPB with lots to see this time of year. Having sampled eating out at the various pubs/ restaurants we think The White Horse at Brancaster is the best (you must book). The Chequers is good for a drink and the renovation is really tasteful.
