Guest reviews

Thanks Jenny for letting us stay at Rosedale at very short notice. We have had a great week walking, rain mainly overnight so managed to complete a few further sections of the Peddars Way and revisited some old routes. The Lifeboat Inn is a favourite very cosy and friendly- food good. The Red Lion at Stiffkey -food very good and dog friendly. Rosedale has everything anyone could wish for, thoughtfully equipped, nice furnishings and clean! Our 2 one year old whippets have enjoyed the garden - the squirrel family and pheasants living over the fence were exciting entertainment! Also the fab beach at Thornham was a bit hit. The goodies and flowers were a lovely thought. Best Wishes, Pete, Di, Alfie and Zak

We have had a wonderful week in Norfolk. Rosedale Cottage has been out favourite rented house so far and we have been coming to Norfolk for many years! It's in an ideal position for walks and pubs and it's been a very comfortable stay. Thank you for your lovely welcome and hope to be back soon!

We have had another lovely week at Rosedale. It's a pleasure to arrive somewhere and not have to get the hoover out straight away as the property is spottless. We also love the totally secure garden (these are issues we have had in other rental properties|). We will definitely be back.

This cottage was well situated for what we wanted for a 5 day break. it was clean, comfortable and we all slept well as the beds were very comfy. the local pubs offered a good choice and all within a nice walking distance, the walk out to beach early morning meant we were the only people there. Big Sky Country... can't beat it. Would be happy to stay there again.

The house was lovely, right in the middle of the village so convenient for everything. Very comfortable and a nice airy, sunny feel to the whole house, comfy bed too. Excellent reponse from the owners when we had a problem with the heating even though she was away herself at the time, she did everything she could to sort it out for us. Would highly recommend this property.

Our 2nd visit to Rosedale. Just find the house comfy and well equipped. Thanks for the flowers and chocolates and the treats for the dog. Not great weather but still had an enjoyable week. Perfect place to chill! PS the Pizzas at the Jolly Sailors are great and the mussels fantastic. PPS the Gin Trap at Ringstead is well worth going to.

Only two of us, so plenty of room. We particularly liked the fact that though it takes dogs there was still a nice carpeted dining and living area. So many properties are bare boards or tiles when they take dogs.

This was our second stay at Rosedale. We enjoyed staying there so much we had to go again. The property is well equipped, homely and very comfortable. It is also in a great location with views from the front over fields and marsh towards Brancaster beach. Highly recommended and we will be returning.

Another very enjoyable stay in Rosedale. We've spent alot of time at Titchwell RSPB with lots to see this time of year. Having sampled eating out at the various pubs/ restaurants we think The White Horse at Brancaster is the best (you must book). The Chequers is good for a drink and the renovation is really tasteful.

We have once again had a most enjoyable stay in our favourite cottage. The walks and exursions to the numerous beaches - plus the use of the excellent Coast Hopper bus - provided another memorable holiday for us (and the dog). The warm autumn weather was a bonus. Thanks for the treats.

Thank you for the flowers and chocs and the two dogs really enjoyed their treats :) We had a fantastic week, with only one day of rain! Reccommend Salthouse, it's really beautiful and The Lifeboat Inn is awesome in Thornham. Sorry to leave... So are the dogs! Fantastic part of the world!! Thank you Norfolk!

Rosadale has provided us with a lovely base for our week in Norfolk. It has been well equipped and a very peaceful location. The addition of the wildlife in the garden has been a joy to watch. All in all a lovely week and the weather was not bad. Ps Thanks you for the chocolates. Look out for the rabbits, I've had 4 at once - really cute.

Rosedale is a great place to stay. Very peaceful and private, away from the main road. Comfortable, spacious and welcoming, we immediately felt at home. The garden was enclosed and very safe, making it ideal for families with children and dogs. We all loved every minute of our stay and wished it was longer!
