Surrounding local area

There are several great places to eat including The Village Deli, selling all manner of local produce and great coffee, The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, The Orange Tree a gastro pub and The Coach House selling pizza and pasta. The beach, reached by a walk over the sea defence over the salt marshes, is stunning and you will be rewarded by peace and quiet!

Great house for a family get-together. Standard of finishing is superb. Would definitely book again!

My second visit to this gorgeous place. Could not have wished for a better stay! Everything in this house is perfect - lovely places to stay to eat in the village - can't wait to come back.

We have stayed many times in Thornham but this is just the best house. Very light, airy, spacious and clean and we've had a wonderful time. Look forward to returning next summer.

This was our 3rd stay at Saxon Shore Cottage. It has such a warm and homely feel with plenty of space for our family and friends to stay. We always have a fantastic time here and have just booked for next year.

The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. A real home away from home in a great location. Highly recommended.

We had an enjoyable stay @ Seagrass. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Close enough for us to be able to walk to the beach and other short walks. We were blessed with the weather so made the most of sitting in the garden. Lovely to have the bifolding doors opening out onto the decking.

This to us was the perfect house, in a perfect village for a perfect holiday. It provided us and our two Gordon's with everything we wanted, and more. As the title suggests, we genuinely didn't want to come home, and so we have booked another holiday at Seagrass later in the year.

This is the nicest house I've stayed in, everything has been thought of and don't think you could wish for anything more - lovely location in a pretty village. The garden is lovely and although not warm enough to really make the most of it I can imagine you would spend a lot of time out here in the summer. Walking distance to all three pubs in the village and the coastal path. The perfect place to stay.

House is lovely, good / high spec on pretty much everything interior and exterior. Great for a family of four & dog. The village itself is lovely, pretty and with character. Three pubs, all genuinely excellent (but all clearly distinct from one another). The Deli is great and understandably busy at most times. Beaches are unspoilt and close by, but go on a windless day otherwise the wind chill takes its toll

Perfect winter break. Thornham is an excellent location for exploring North Norfolk. Seagrass was very well equipped with everything you could need and more, the garden was ideal for our Westie, Hugo.
