The cottage has the shared use of a large walled cottage garden featuring a really quaint stone garden room. There is also a hard tennis court available for those who like to play.

Surrounding local area

Binham is an historical village a few miles inland from Wells next the Sea. Binham is a really beautiful example of a traditional Norfolk village with the added attraction of the priory.
The 12th century Priory has wonderful outdoor concerts in the summer.
There is an excellent pub called The Chequers, that brews its own beer and a village shop.
Walking in the area is excellent and very peaceful, you can really escape the madding crowds without being too far away from the interesting local towns of Wells-Next-The-Sea or Blakeney.

Guest reviews

We enjoyed the cottage, perfect location for bird watching in the area & lots more to do in the area. The pub was even closer than expected. The cottage was of a very high standard, warm and toasty and plenty of kitchen equipment. We used Norfolk Deli for a food hamper and our Beef Wellington was amazing, good local products. We enjoyed the Black Shuck local gin. We will return again to Norfolk as there was much more to do and see.

A cosy courtyard cottage!

Easy to find, small and perfectly formed! Heating was excellent and swiftly turned the welcoming cottage into a warm and cosy cottage. Great use of space. Lovely big towels: good facilities and equipment in the kitchen. Great for autumn/winter when dark evenings result in more inside time. Lovely.

Really pleasant well planned accommodation - great location for our short break. A few little niggles the bathroom is tired and shower screen ineffective and hall area is damp where coats and boots stored. Overall comfortable beds and nice accommodation. Would return!

Charming, cosy cottage in peaceful location. Comfy beds & sofas, a very well equipped kitchen with more than your usual "one plate per person", lots of hot water and a welcome bottle of wine and some chocs. All very enjoyable, the village is a hidden gem but somewhere we will return to.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage in a lovely village. Beds are so comfortable they make it difficult to get up in the morning. Ideal for visiting costal villages and towns and also rural sleepy villages. Walking directly from the cottage and the Binham Priory across the road is a delight to explore. Would visit again, bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival a lovely touch.

The bed is bliss. Only problem is, the bed is so delicious we have been very late risers.
