All of the reception rooms have open fires too, perfect for cooler winter evenings.

Providing sleeping for two people; with a double bedroom, bathroom with separate shower and open plan living space with fully-equipped kitchen plus breakfast bar and sitting area is available. For those who choose to sleep here, there is plenty of privacy.

With its beautiful flint façade and Dutch gable, Tudor Cottage stands proudly in its enviable location. The very pretty walled garden is ideal for enjoying al fresco dining, or taking afternoon tea. This room can be be more private if the door between bedroom 3 and 4 is closed and access via the staircase from the sitting room is used. Door leading to second staircase which leads to the third floor bathroom in the Master suite.

This beautiful floor accessed via the main stairway or second stairway via the sitting room, stretches the entire length of the property.

The very attractive walled garden is fully enclosed, so ideal for dogs and children and it has been landscaped with a large paved terrace with plenty of garden furniture and space for all 10 guests to dine al fresco. There is a barbecue and cushions for the garden furniture. There is also an outside toilet (all painted in Farrow and Ball paint of course!) and a small orangery. The garden is one of the main features of the house and it has well-tended perennial and herbaceous borders and is mainly laid to lawn.

Annexe – Sleeps 2
This beautiful self-contained annexe located at the far end of the garden, provides additional separate accommodation for those wishing to have more privacy. Accessed via an external staircase this fantastic addition to Tudor Cottage offers luxury accommodation throughout too.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a hub for North Norfolk coastal activities. From the picturesque harbour (where crabbing is a must) you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach with its famous array of colourful beach huts. Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack - you can also hose down a sandy dog! Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square,The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings. There is a bustling high street with all kind of independent shops, some lovely tearooms, great gastro pubs and restaurants. This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers all year round. Beautiful Holkham Hall is just down the road. You can hire a bike from the quayside and spend a day exploring the coastal paths, or perhaps Holkham estate. And, don't forget to reward yourself after a busy, active day with some of the best fish and chips in the area.
