Yew Tree Cottage holiday cottage location

Surrounding local area

Blakeney is one of the jewels on the North Norfolk coast, a mecca for sailors, birders, artist and walkers. Something really for everyone. The harbour is picturesque and always bustling with children (and adults!)) gillying for crabs. Take the sea defence wall walk over the saltmarsh and you will be rewarded with simply stunning views. The village is a maze of winding streets and tiny fishermens cottages. Great places to eat and enjoy the local sea food.
Blakeney point is a 3 mile spit of sand dunes and shingle with stunning uninterrupted views of the landscapes. It is a wonderful place for walking and wildlife watching as it is home to colonies of breeding Terns and many migraint birds pass through as well as the colony of about 500 harbour and grey seals within reaching distance.

Guest reviews

Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous central location. A beautifully decorated cottage with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Central location means you can walk everywhere in Blakeney. Lovely private courtyard garden is a complete suntrap for relaxed meals, and the fabulous Blakeney Deli is across the street!

Tucked away in a side lane is a stunning little slice of well thought out and executed designed cottage, cosy and in the heart of stunning Norfolk inner harbour of Blakeney, open skies, stunning landscape. A real get away from it all retreat! choose the right time, the right places and you will love what Norfolk has to offer in this often too fast moving and changing world.

We had a lovely week in Yew Tree Cottage. Bit awkward to get car near to unload and pack up but really worth it. Cottage is beautiful and very handy for lovely walks, shop and pub. Blakeney is a lovely place.

Yes thank you – I had a lovely time at the cottage. It is well and thoughtfully equipped, beautifully maintained and clean, and the bed was very comfy. I was very lucky with the weather too, and enjoyed walking, and there was a spectacular sunset yesterday – took lots of photos. Sorry I didn’t get round to writing in the book, but it was a lovely stay

Lovely Cottage and was struck by your generosity no rushing out for squeezy etc lots of coffee pods ! Enjoyed the log burner I thought it was great to be a bit hidden away but so central. This meant we walked much more rather than using the car. Would love to come and stay again. Thank you.
