Norfolk Hideaways has teamed up with Visit North Norfolk, the official destination management organisation for the area, to produce six short films promoting North Norfolk. The new North Norfolk, Naturally films, released in May 2019, all focus on the unique aspects of North Norfolk and what makes north Norfolk a unique destination to visit. This includes the Cromer Chalk Reef, Blue Flag and award-winning beaches, the Deep History Coast, walking and cycling, food and drink, arts and culture, history and heritage, family attractions, unique experiences and winter wildlife.
Norfolk Hideaways has also teamed up with Visit North Norfolk to offer a lucky winner a short break for four people at a luxury cottage in beautiful North Norfolk.
The prize is for one winner and up to three guests to enjoy either a three-night weekend stay or four-night midweek break between 5th November and 13th December 2019 (subject to availability), at The Cottage; a cosy dog-friendly cottage for four in a tranquil North Norfolk village.
The Cottage at Baconsthorpe is the perfect example of ‘chocolate-box’ cottage, with beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and cosy log burner... a lovely place to relax after a long day exploring North Norfolk. There are two comfortable bedrooms, ideal for a family or four, a beautiful bathroom featuring a roll-top bath, and a bespoke painted and fitted kitchen.
At the back of the cottage is a pretty courtyard garden with furniture – just the place for an alfresco meal or a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
Baconsthorpe is a beautifully peaceful village, just five miles from the spectacular North Norfolk Coast. The village is home to the lovely Baconsthorpe Castle ruins, which provide visitors with an attractive spot for a stroll and a picnic.
The Georgian market town of Holt is just three miles away, with plenty of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The seaside town of Sheringham is also a short drive away, with its delightful sandy beach and colourful beach huts.
