Norfolk Hideaways has teamed up with Visit North Norfolk, the official destination management organisation for the area, to produce six short films promoting North Norfolk. The new North Norfolk, Naturally films, released in May 2019, all focus on the unique aspects of North Norfolk and what makes north Norfolk a unique destination to visit. This includes the Cromer Chalk Reef, Blue Flag and award-winning beaches, the Deep History Coast, walking and cycling, food and drink, arts and culture, history and heritage, family attractions, unique experiences and winter wildlife.
Norfolk Hideaways has also teamed up with Visit North Norfolk to offer a lucky winner a short break for four people at a luxury cottage in beautiful North Norfolk.
The prize is for one winner and up to three guests to enjoy either a three-night weekend stay or four-night midweek break between September and December 2019, at Jasmine Cottage, a cosy cottage in a tranquil North Norfolk village.
Jasmine Cottage is a delightful and quirky two bedroom period terraced cottage in the pretty village of South Creake. With a mezzanine floor accessed via a ship's ladder, this little Norfolk gem is great for couples wanting a romantic love nest for two, or for a young family with up to two small children who are looking for something a little different. With a large living/dining area with limestone floors and stylish, modern kitchen, bathroom and downstairs shower room, this gorgeous rustic retreat is the perfect hideaway, close to the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The cottage boasts a sunny south facing garden to relax in, so on warmer days, enjoy eating breakfast outside or dining alfresco on an evening.
South Creake, home to a pretty village green, play area, tennis courts and a pub in the next village, is an ideal base to explore the surrounding coast and countryside. Fashionable Burnham Market, is a short five-minute drive away, where you will find hard to resist restaurants! Also nearby is Creake Abbey, where you will find a café, food hall, fantastic shops and studios plus an award-winning farmers’ market, all in the grounds of the ruins of an Augustinian abbey founded in 1206. A ten-minute drive, east or west and you’ll come across the fantastic sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, where you can tuck yourself away in the dunes and enjoy long lazy days.
