Property details

Goose Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage that has been refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation is very comfortable and stylish with good attention to detail.

Birdwatchers will be excited to know the cottage overlooks the famous RSPB bird reserve at Titchwell and they will be able to watch the geese flying over the marshes in the autumn and winter as well as the migratory birds all year round.

There is a short walk to the quiet beach over the marsh and only a five minute walk to Titchwell Manor and Briarfields Hotel, both serve delicious food.

The Coasthopper bus service regularly passes through Titchwell and offers easy access to all the other lovely villages on the North Norfolk coast.

Goose Cottage holiday cottage location

Surrounding local area

Titchwell is right on the North Norfolk Heritage coast and home to the famous RSPB reserve.
The sight of the geese flying overhead in the Autumn is one of the most incredible sights you will see.
There are two good places to eat including Briarfields Hotel and the acclaimed Titchwell Manor.
Brancaster is a couple of minutes drive away and is known for its simply stunning beach. It stretches for miles backed by gentle sand dunes and the famous links golf course of The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club.
Seals bask on the creek edges and children can safely paddle in the tidal lagoons. The tide goes out a long way revealing the shipwreck of the SS Vina (beware of strong tides and do not venture out!) The sand is perfect for sandcastles and picnics. Kite surfers provide exciting entertainment on windy days.
Parking is a few yards from the beach and anyone who walks that little bit further will be rewarded with their own private stretch of sand!
The Ship public house has recently been reopened under Chris Couborough The Flying Kiwi Chef to great reviews.

Had a lovely week in Goose Cottage, everything supplied to make our stay comfortable. Views from the bedrooms were beautiful with Titchwell Marsh at the front and fields to the back. Enjoyed the walk through the RSPB reserve to get to the quiet beach. Love this area of North Norfolk, lots to visit within easy reach.

Perfect cottage tucked away on the Norfolk coast. We had a wonderful stay in Goose Cottage. The property has been lovingly renovated and was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. Lovely small back garden overlooking fields and a view of Titchwell reserve from bed! We loved visiting the reserve every day, an easy walk and you’ll have it to yourself in the early morning. The dog loved the wood burner and the beach which is an easy stroll through the reserve. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Goose Cottage - Lovely and comfortable in bitterly cold weather. Everything from the toaster to the beds was of very good quality.

My second stay at Goose cottage, and it was as comfortable and relaxing as I could have wished for. Lots of walks from the door, excellent choice of places to eat. I was staying for 2 weeks and it was a really nice surprise to find the cottage was cleaned and new bedding provided mid way through. Hope to return again soon.

We have recently had a most enjoyable week at Goose Cottage. The cottage was very tastefully decorated and we received a welcome pack on arrival. The cottage is situated in a lovely area overlooking the RSPB reserve and is a short walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed visiting Wells next the Sea, Cley next the Sea, Holkham beach with its miles of unspoilt beach. Blakeney is a must for boat trips and crab sandwiches and nice independent shops and galleries. Shucks at the Orchard Farm Shop at Thornham, White Horse at Holme next the Sea and many more places along the North Norfolk Coast. We walked the coastal paths and enjoyed some Spring sunshine. A great holiday. The only thing that went amiss was a family of bees decided that the chimney stack was a good place to explore. All dealt with though by the local Norfolk Hideaways folk - thank you! We will be back.

My first stay in this beautiful cottage and I can't wait to return again in September. Thoughtfully furnished, comfortable and welcoming. I have been coming to Norfolk many years and this is my favourite cottage. i was concerned about the parking when I booked but had no problems and appreciated being able to park right outside the front door. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of glasses and crockery. The view from the bedroom was wonderful and I saw lots of birds in comfort.

The cottage was as good as all the pictures & had everything & more 4 people needed-all was of excellent quality & spotlessly clean. Everything very thoughtfully done, welcome pack really nice. Had to be very careful with the dog as front door on road but easily solved by locking & using back door so not really an issue. Centrally located to everywhere! Thank you Goose Cottage!

Fabulous house with lovely décor. Met our needs wonderfully. The location is amazing and beaches superb, evening walks are a must. Don't miss the Thornham Deli. The sighting of the barn owl was the icing on the cake. We will be back!!
