The property is approached via electric gates and in to a shingle parking area. There is a lawned garden to the front of the cottage and garden furniture for six people and brick built BBQ. The whole garden area is walled and fully enclosed.
There is a pretty chapel facing in to the grounds of the cottage, which is independently owned by the Yorke Trust and has a separate access out with the grounds of The Manse. The chapel is used periodically for classical music concerts or teaching, however this is very infrequent and takes place without disturbance to The Manse.
The village of South Creake is picturesque with the River Burn running through it and a children’s play area, duck pond and tennis courts. Just a mile away is North Creake, with a traditional pub serving food, The Jolly Farmers and Creake Abbey food hall and restaurant are a must visit (the deli is amazing!) and further on in Stanhoe is The Duck, a very popular gastro-pub (reservations are a must). The ever popular Burnham Market, home to The Hoste Arms is just over 5 minutes drive away and the coast at Wells, Holkham, Burnham Overy, Brancaster Staithe and Brancaster are all around ten minutes in the car.
