Property details

A fabulous, stylish barn conversion set in stunning open countryside, with long distance views, yet only a short walk away from the coast.

Big Sky Barn is a 200-year-old brick and flint character barn that has undergone a total refurbishment and now offers extremely comfortable. well-equipped and luxurious accommodation. With two bedrooms (two super-king beds, one with twin option) and two bathrooms, an open plan living space and private, enclosed courtyard garden, this is a super spot (a perfect romantic getaway) that will appeal to couples, friends or a small family at any time of the year.

Incorporated into the barn walls are stones from the 13th century ruins of Bromholm Priory, mentioned in Chaucer's 'A Reeve's Tale' and once believed to be home to the True Cross, which is a really special feature. Another is the 'Soul Pad' tent which is available for use in high summer months.

A great get-away-from-it-all rural retreat, somewhere to relax and wind down, but also a comfortable base from which to explore this lovely area of Norfolk - there is easy access to local beaches, wonderful coastal and rural walks, and country lanes to explore on foot or bike.

Please note: Big Sky Barn is not detached; parts of the barn adjoin the adjacent Bromholm Barn, which also sleeps four and can be booked in conjunction with Big Sky Barn for larger groups (if available).

Guest reviews

A great find! A lovely spacious modern barn in a great location to explore the Norfolk coast line as well as having great walks on your doorstep, a nice little hamper to welcome us as well as home made cake brought for our consumption. Highly recommended.

Had a fab break at Big Sky Barn, it is in a great location for us . Attention to detail has been thought through in great detail Welcome pack was fantastic, and lemon cake was delicious. Very comfortable, added bonus of Netflix was great when we were too knackered after spending the day on the great beaches the area has to offer. Was a little worried that our cocker would get through the bar gate but she didn't take any notice, would definitely recommend the BSB to friends and family.

Great accommodation and location. We had a very relaxing time. The accommodation was superb and Tracey went the extra distance by ensuring we were well stocked with various foodstuffs including a homemade cake. Flower were also in the property for our stay. The best comment I can make is that we would stay again.

Visit to Big Sky Barn. A beautiful 3 night break in tranquil surroundings yet only a short walk or drive to the beach and facilities. The barn was immaculately presented with a generous welcome pack. Could not fault it and would recommend highly. We will definitely be going back.

We survived "Beast from the East" (major snowfall) and turned it into "Feast from the East". We all loved it here - hats off to Tracey and Pete as they have thought of everything. The attention to detail is amazing - love this place. See you again soon.
