Property details

A very pretty mid terrace cottage that is bursting with charm, and beautifully decorated in a vintage country style. Set in a peaceful location, with fabulous open countryside views, and within a short walking distance of the coast, First & Last is a winner at any time of the year.

Everything about this cottage says 'comfortable and cosy', and just feels 'oh so relaxing' as soon as you walk in the door. The sitting room is as pretty as a picture, and the well-equipped galley kitchen has a fabulous dining conservatory extension that leads into the pretty courtyard garden. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (a cosy king size and a full-size bunk room), a bathroom and a second sitting room, that rather takes you by surprise with its full size picture windows that make the most of the wonderful far reaching views across open countryside at the back of the cottage. This is a lovely place to sit and read, look through a pair of binoculars, or watch the sun go down with a glass of wine when the children are in bed.

First & Last is a perfect combination of a coastal retreat with a rural feel, that will be enjoyed by small families, couples and friends, both in summer and winter. If you are not familiar with this part of Norfolk, give it a try, you will love it! Two well behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage, but please note the courtyard garden is not enclosed.

Trimingham is peaceful coastal village four miles south of Cromer, just two miles from Overstrand and three miles from Mundesley, and is a perfect base from which to explore this lovely part of both rural and coastal North Norfolk. There is a long sandy beach with chalk cliff backdrop just a short walk away, which is accessed via a steep path. There are fabulous beaches at nearby Overstrand and Mundesley From Overstrand you can walk the coastal path to Cromer. Guest reviews

We have enjoyed a lovely few days here in Trimingham. Weather has been dry and good for getting about. Lovely, peaceful, get away from it all location. Visited some lovely pubs along with some great food! Cottage is beautiful and was spotless on arrival. Top marks to the housekeeper. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the necessities on arrival. Would recommend 'Cliff Top Cafe' at Overstrand. Great breakfast along with the views.

Have had a brilliant week! Lovely cottage, very cosy, excellent accommodation. Trimingham is a very quiet, peaceful village but still close to all the amenities in Cromer and Mundesley. Thanks for all the supplies that we found in the kitchen on arrival! Very useful to tide us over till the morning shopping.

Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and a peaceful place to relax. The reading room and sunny dining room are great, with views over the fields and the perfect place to sit any time of the day. Evenings without doubt the best. Plenty of quiet walks right outside particularly if you have a dog.

We had three nights in this lovely peaceful tranquil English cottage - it has been beautifully decorated and feels comfortable and homely - our favourite room was the reading room and we spent ages in there - sometimes just listening to the silence- not even traffic noise! Definately no easy beach access but the beautiful Overstrand beach is only a short drive away.
