Superbly appointed cottage. Our dogs most definitely approved!

Cheney Hollow is the best quality dog-friendly cottage we've stayed in. We generally make some allowances for holiday homes accepting dogs but no standards were dropped at Cheney Hollow. With or without dogs, it's a beautiful home, clearly respected by all guests. The downstairs living space is plentiful, making it great for groups. The hot tub was an appreciated luxury, which we used on every day of our week's stay, in October. Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely, comfortable holiday home. Our dogs settled right in from day one, and that's not always the case. The tiered gardens made for a very private space and the house and grounds are clearly well looked after. The visitor's guide clearly showed the appreciation of other guests before us and the sunsets on north/south Heacham beaches were beautiful. The whole area is genuinely dog-friendly not just dog-tolerant and we appreciated the doggy menus at the lighthouse cafe in Hunstanton, for breakfast, and the Dabbling Duck gastro pub, in Great Massignham, for lunch pitstops off the Peddar's way. Fabulous holiday!

Perfect find. The cottage is spacious and has every possible thing that you could need, enclosed gardens for the dogs and really comfy sofas in the conservatory for late pm tea after long walks. Definitely will return.

This is a beautiful property in lovely gardens. We felt at home straight away. Comfortable, clean and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Cheney Hollow. Our little dog loved it too and settled from the first day. The welcome goodies box is a lovely touch. Good walks to the beach and into Hunstanton and local shops and pubs.

we just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to the owners at Cheney Hollow. We have had a lovely week and given that we had not been to Norfolk before, How well based the hollow is for day trips. We took the two children are 2 and 4 and out Labrador Jett. Jett was in doggy heaven; loving the beach and the house. The kids had a great time and wanted to try out all 3 showers. Lovely relaxing house - we were all sad to leave. Thank you for making our holiday very special.

“Cheney Hollow provided everything the familly (comprising 4 adults , 2 children and a dog) could ask for . Great charm , excellent modern facilities and so much room downstairs that everyone was catered for whether playing games , reading or just wanting to relax away from it all . Our golden retriever loved the large garden when not enjoying our walks on the beach . The hot tub provided a perfect early evening retreat before setting off to enjoy a meal at various good eating places in the vicinity . In fact one did not need to ever leave the property because it was so relaxing however it was an ideal base to explore the area and spend time with the grandchildren , and dog, on the beach especially at Old Hunstanton and Holkham . Cheney Hollow cannot be too highly recommended .It is a stunning and brilliantly furnished house which commands a 5 * rating. The owners should be congratulated on the quality of the property , their attention to detail and their taste in furnishings and yet they have retained the house's old world charm . A truly superb property which surpasses all expectations. ”
