Certainly has the wow factor 4 adults and 2 dogs really wished we'd booked for longer. All you could wish for in the cottage they've thought of everything. Our only concern was the open garden leading to patio has quite a drop but all was OK. Lovely beaches with very dog friendly cafes. Booking with norfolk hideaways was so easy will definitely be returning guests.

This was such a comfortable, spacious and beautiful cottage in which to stay. Fabulous living room in which to relax, and lots of games (and space in which to play them!) for children. Bedrooms were large and light, and garden had lots of room to play and explore. Heacham itself is a lovely village, with a real community feel. The beach was a 15 minute walk away, with glorious sunsets.

We had an amazing weekend (helped by gorgeous weather). The cottage has lots of room and was very clean and was a good location to visit the local area. It was our first holiday with our 12 month Dalmatian and he had loads of fun in the large enclosed garden. We walked on the beach at Old Hunstanton each morning (which is ideal for dogs - large area and dog friendly cafe for afterwards). We went to Heacham beaches in the evenings when it had cooled down. We took his crate so he could rest while we went out during the hot part of the day. Would recommend this cottage and we would definitely like a return visit.

“Cheney Hollow provided everything the familly (comprising 4 adults , 2 children and a dog) could ask for . Great charm , excellent modern facilities and so much room downstairs that everyone was catered for whether playing games , reading or just wanting to relax away from it all . Our golden retriever loved the large garden when not enjoying our walks on the beach . The hot tub provided a perfect early evening retreat before setting off to enjoy a meal at various good eating places in the vicinity . In fact one did not need to ever leave the property because it was so relaxing however it was an ideal base to explore the area and spend time with the grandchildren , and dog, on the beach especially at Old Hunstanton and Holkham . Cheney Hollow cannot be too highly recommended .It is a stunning and brilliantly furnished house which commands a 5 * rating. The owners should be congratulated on the quality of the property , their attention to detail and their taste in furnishings and yet they have retained the house's old world charm . A truly superb property which surpasses all expectations. ”
