Neptune Cottage holiday cottage location

Surrounding local area

Old Hunstanton is a rarity along the North Norfolk coast in that you can get very close to the beach without walking a long way over the salt marshes! Miles of sand, gentle sand dunes and beach huts make this a perfect family seaside holiday destination.
For the more active, Old Hunstanton has become a mecca for Kite Surfing.
Hunstanton Golf Course, a challenging links course is voted amongst the top 100 courses in Britain.
There are great places to eat, all within walking distance of our holiday cottages, including The Neptune a Michelin Star restaurant, The Lodge Hotel and a lovely traditional beach cafe serving a good fry up! The lifeboat station is a good place to visit and maybe see in action. The hovercraft being launched is a sight wellworth seeing!

Had a fantastic few days in this lovely cottage. Great location a few minutes from the beach, a shop and a pub. Would love to return and would highly recommend!

Holiday in Old Hunstanton. We loved our stay in Neptune’s cottage , beautifully furnished and decorated, and the breakfast left for us was a lovely surprise, we will definitely stay there again.

Stay at Neptune Cottage - Fantastic weather, beautiful scenery and a very comfortable beautifully presented cottage in Old Hunstanton close to the beach and with lots of places to eat nearby. The complimentary breakfast for our first morning and the bottle of wine were a lovely surprise. We would definitely stay there again. Our only disappointment was not being able to eat at the Neptune Restaurant next door as it was fully booked for the time we were there - perhaps a link to the restaurant or a note to future holiday makers to say if you want to eat there to book as soon as the cottage booking has been confirmed would be helpful?

Good Cottage. Super clean and well cared for with some nice added extras like beach towels for our use. We enjoyed our stay.

Just had a great stay at the Cottage which was exactly as the web site explained, perhaps even better. The owners could not have gone further to help as our plans for the stay changed throughout. The beds, towels and linen were of the highest quality and the downstairs was well laid out and furnished, the kitchen being particuarly well equiped. If the need arises we will definately stay again and recommend friends and family. Particularly good for Hunstanton and Brancaster golf.

“Three of us, including our 8 year old daughter stayed for three nights in Oct. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you could need and more. There was a bottle of wine, milk, bacon, eggs, butter, bread and tomatoes put in the fridge for us which was unexpected and just perfect. The cottage is a ten minute walk from the beach. Perfect for a base to explore the coast or just for pure relaxation. Will would definitely recommend the cottage and hope to go back.

This was a really gorgeous cottage and we had a lovely stay. It was well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The decor is gorgeous and they provided plentiful lovely fluffy towels. We will definitely return to this gem of a cottage.
