Property details

Victory Cottage is an attractive newly built brick and flint cottage located on a quiet lane with pedestrian access to the high street. The cottage has been beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and a stylish finish throughout. There are two double bedrooms, the master being en suite along with a third single bedroom/dressing room which would ideally suit adults or families with older children. French doors lead onto the pretty patio area from the very well-equipped kitchen and the rear garden is particularly lovely and fully enclosed by an ancient flint wall.

The village boasts one of the best farm shops on the coast. There is a light railway that runs from Walsingham to Wells most of the year which is popular with both adults and children. You also have several great places to eat on your doorstop including The Norfolk Riddle, an excellent fish and chip shop and restaurant, and The Black Lion, a great gastro pub.

Walsingham is a fascinating place to visit with many fine buildings and Walsingham Abbey with the renowned 'Snowdrop Walks' in the Spring.

Guest reviews

Lovely property- very well equipped and extremely comfortable. It was I’d really situated for touring the region.

This is the second time we have stayed here (which tells you a lot already) as the cottage is beautiful in every respect, clean, comfortable, very well-equipped and beautifully presented, 10/10. The area is peaceful with lots to see we fully recommend the shrine/grounds here in Walsingham and the slipper chapel about a mile away as well as Binham Priory (all of which are just breath-taking). 'Frenchies' chippy in Wells is excellent and Sheringham is a must. All in all, a wonderful break (despite the weather) and I suspect we will be back! Oh, and thank you Jenny for the amazing marmalade and the inclusion of milk and butter and some kettle chips - yum! All the best for 2018, keep up this superb standard! Best wishes.

Fantastic cottage in a great location. The accommodation was very very clean with all mod-cons thought of and provided. Plenty of room for all the family and a real home from home. Hidden away in a lovely quiet location. Village is perfect for exploring North Norfolk's fantastic beaches and villages. All in all a super place to stay.

Fabulous cottage, well equipped, light and airy - the best we've stayed in. 5 miles to Wells, but with 2 pubs, one excellent, within a stroll.

Thank you so much for this lovely cottage. We love Walsingham, especially the farm shop, and this clean, well-equipped cottage was a great place to stay for the week. We had a lovely time relaxing on cley beach and would definitely recommend temples seal trips. It was great! We always have some French's fish & chips from Wells-next-the-sea and they definitely didn't disappoint! We had a very comfortable stay and loved the small courtyard area to sit out every morning.

We would definitely recommend this beautiful, spacious cottage to others- we had a fantastic time here. thank you.

Wow! What a beautiful cottage:- Clean, comfortable, beautifully presented wit superb equipment and high quality bedding & towels etc. Without question one of the FINEST self-catering cottages we have ever stayed in. We will be back in Spring/Summer next year!

The area is so interesting and picturesque with to much to see and do. Walsingham Abbey is a must! We also visited Wells, Cley, Hunstanton, Sherringham, Holt, Cromer, Burnham Market..... & more.

The Bulls head pub is smashing (Walsingham just a few yards away!) and the local shops are charming.

We have had a perfect holiday. Keep up this high standard and you will have many repeat customers.

Thank you.

Ps. Thank you for the wine and biscuits etc. :)

Victor Cottage in Little Walsingham certainly lived up to its name. What a triumph. The owners had thought of everything to make the stay easy...even down to a magnifying glass for those of us who regularly 'lose our glasses'. So tastefully decorated but homely and comfortable at the same time. Very friendly neighbours too. Highly recommend Victory Cottage. Walsingham an interesting village and so close to all the fabulous towns on the North Coast.

Listed as a cottage but basically a spacious, modern and fabulous place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Only 10 mins drive from Wells Next The SEa and Fakenham. Great place if you want a quiet relaxed stay but just remember the local shop shuts at 5.30. We will definitely stay here again.

"What a beautiful cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay- despite the stormy weather. We were the only ones at the WWLR on saturday- the whole train to ourselves like VIPs! The foos at the Black Lion was lovely and sun came out twice this morning for a last walk on the beach before we headed home. Thank you."
