Mum and I celebrated our birthdays at the cottage (90 and 60 respectively) and we are so glad we decided to stay at Albert's Cottage. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for Mum at first but were soon mastered (she came down backwards!). The cottage was small and compact and had every thing we needed. A bonus for the week was the lovely weather (very fortunate in April) and we sat for many hours outside the cottage which was an absolute sun trap. Wells is a favorite destination of ours and we have stayed in many cottages but Albert's Cottage is one of the best.

A great week in this lovely cottage with my Wife and in-laws. The weather has been kind with plenty of sun and no rain! We came for a family wedding so the sun was a real blessing! Plenty of great walking and eating out, thank you.

This is a beautiful little cottage in an excellent location right in the centre of Wells. We had a very comfortable stay here and spent lots of mornings eating breakfast in the little sun trap of it's back garden. Everything had been thought of with lots of care in evidence, from the provision of welcome brownies (that's the cake not the small folk!) to crisp white bed linen. We will be back!!

“Albert's Cottage is by the far the best cottage we have stayed in. Although small we did not feel at all cramped at any time (there were 2 adults and 2 children), it is cosy and so well equipped with quality furniture and fittings - beds were amazingly comfortable. The little seating area/patio garden is a sun trap. Location is perfect and although right in the centre of Wells and just off the main street, was incredibly quiet. We visited in August and were able to park for free each day in the adjoining road. Perfect cottage to visit Wells and amazing towns and villages nearby.”

Albert's cottage is a cosy , comfortable and perfectly situated cottage for the shops and quay. We enjoyed local walks from the door as well as ones further afield using the excellent Coast Hopper bus service. Very cosy and welcoming little cottage so convenient for the shops and harbour - perfect! We had everything we needed here including great weather! The little back garden is a real sun trap so lots of breakfasts outside this week! Thank you for taking such care in creating a delightful place to stay - hope to come back if we can get booked in to your busy schedule!!

This little cottage couldn't be handier for the shops, pubs and restaurants and only a minutes stroll to the harbour front. The location is nice and quiet, in fact you wouldn't really know that you are in the centre of town as it's so peaceful. The cottage itself is kitted out with all that we needed with very nice bed linen (Egyptian cotton) and the towels are lovely and fluffy so in a nutshell,,there is nothing that the cottage hasn't got.The little freezer (and washing machine)in the outhouse behind the property were very useful too. We have stayed in several cottages in Wells over the years and although all were very good and we had no complaints, we will be returning to Alberts' as it is now our first choice
