Guest reviews

Great cottage, excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Oyster Cottage and would love to come again. Would definitely recommend this property for two, very cosy and comfortable.

Calm, classy and comfortable. Having spotted Oyster Cottage a while ago I was lucky enough to get a week at the end of July. The property is just lovely and tastefully decorated. It's not only the look but the comfort and facilities were also excellent.
Although small one didn't feel cramped, the living room is a good size with Ercol style chairs and a sofa - all good to sit in and not lumpy or sloppy. The kitchen had all the equipment one needs (including a dishwasher). The beds were very comfortable with cotton linen. The walk in rainfall shower had good pressure and there was plenty of hot water. Jolly Sailor yard is an ideal location as it's two minutes from the quay and very close to the main street and it's quiet - avoiding the crowds. We had no trouble parking. Be aware that the stairs are steep but I managed despite having had a knee replacement recently. The wifi isn't great either but I've found that to be the case in Wells so no fault of the cottage. All in all it's just super.

Comfy cottage. Very warm and cosy on which was a very cold holiday, very welcoming with the log burner, all made for a lovely holiday.
