Surrounding local area

Old Hunstanton is a rarity along the North Norfolk coast in that you can get very close to the beach without walking a long way over the salt marshes! Miles of sand, gentle sand dunes and beach huts make this a perfect family seaside holiday destination. For the more active Old Hunstanton has become a mecca for Kite Surfing. Hunstanton Golf Course, a challenging links course is voted amongst the top 100 courses in Britain. There are great places to eat, all within walking distance of our holiday cottages, including The Neptune a Michelin Star restaurant, The Lodge Hotel and a lovely traditional beach cafe serving a good fry up! The lifeboat station is a good place to visit and maybe see in action. The hovercraft being launched is a sight wellworth seeing!

Guest reviews

This was our second time at Bramley and we will go back again. We love the open plan living and the fact that everything is on one floor. The plot is big which means the garden at the back is a great size and is mainly grass which is ideal for our two young children to run around. The accommodation is clean and very well equipped.

Bramley is ideal for a family holiday by the sea. Absolutely loved the house. Has a fun feel. Suited us perfectly. Very comfortable and very well equipped with everything one could want. Top quality kitchen utensils, towels, bedding etc. which is rarely found in holiday rentals. Beautifully furnished and lots of extras eg. Books, games. High chair and travel cot provided. Three generations aged from 6 months to 70s had a great time. The owner very quickly resolved an issue with the hot water which previous renters had identified. Best rental we have ever had.

This was our second stay at Bramley. We love it there and we will be back. The house is very calming and being so close to the beach it is an ideal place for our family.

Great location, high specification property, thoroughly enjoyable stay. Not the cheapest, but worth it for the high standards. Hot air heating takes a bit of getting used to - we found that we had to adjust the thermostat regularly to keep the house just right for us, because with no radiators there is no residual heat when it goes off. But this was during a cold spell in November, and the hot air does warm the house very quickly once it kicks in, so once we'd got used to that it wasn't a problem for us.

Great holiday! We loved the house and the location. We were blessed by the weather and, being a few minutes from the beach meant that our daughter spent plenty of time splashing in the sea and collecting shells. A quite, calm, stylish and well equipped base for our exploration of Norfolk.

Bramley is in a great location for the beach,we went swimming, at high tide, every day. The bungalow, whilst compact, is light and airy and due to its design the well kept private lawns extends the living area. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday, thank you.

We loved staying in Bramley, shows that good design lasts decades. Very comfortable, great location & the daily ornothological visitors to the garden were a delight. Well equipped with designer touches all round. Would definitely revisit.

Great little cottage. Has absolutely everything you could wish for, and then a bit more! Lovely comfy beds. Functional bathroom. Lovely kitchen / diner and snug area. Really well equipped kitchen. Feels really spacious due to the floor to ceiling windows. Lovely garden for children to play in too. 5 minutes walk to a big sandy beach, local pub and shop. The wider area locally is also great - lots of great pubs, restaurants, and beaches.
