Guest reviews

A pretty, peaceful and comfortable stay - even in the balmy winds! We have had a lovely time, first holiday for our 18 month old Vizsla, Prince. He has jumped for joy on the dunes and chased teasing seagulls across the waters. We hope to be back again and will recommend to our family and friends.

A lovely re-birthday long weekend, out third visit to Little Star and it never disappoints. Lots of chilling by the fire as it was quite wet and windy but managed a visit to Thornham Deli and The Guerney Fish Shop for some lovely Halibut. Already booked in for our next stay!

Cosy refuge in cold winter's holiday. We've had a wonderful time at Blossom Cottage in Brancaster. We were travelling with a toddler and the village playground right across the street was a nice surprise. The beach isn't far and the underfloor heating after winter beach walks was a real treat. Everything was immaculately clean and modern. Great. We'll come back.

Little star is just that, a little star! The accommodation is beautiful and cozy. Ideally located for the beaches and attractions. The Gin Trap (the village pub) is only a small walk away and well worth visiting. We loved our holiday and would go back again.

Little Star is a very well equipped cottage in a lovely village location. The cottage was very clean and well presented and offers plenty of room for two people. There is a nice sunny private garden area to the rear with garden furniture to make the most of Sunny days. The village has an excellent pub within walking distance, we ate there several times and can recommend it highly. Many excellent beaches are within a short drive and there are excellent walks from the village, particularly good if you’re a dog owner. As a seasoned holiday cottage user I would rate this in the top 10% of those we’ve stayed at and would definitely have no hesitation in returning.

Little Star is a credit to its owners, cosy warm and comfortable - a lovely place to be. Huge bath, comfy bed, log fire, what more could you ask for? Thank you for a great stay, very enjoyable - not surprised Little Star is fully booked up!

In contrast to the previous comments, we had a solid week of inclement weather. This however gave us ample opportunity to use the log burner - very cosy! The cottage itself is a triumph, whoever undertook the interior design really has an eye. Things we did, despite the rain: Sandringham - well worth a visit, Burnham Market - lots of independent shops, The White Horse in Brancaster - beautiful views, overrated food, Thornham Deli - nice selection but but Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton is better, Titchwell RSPB reserve - surprisingly addictive, Le Strange Arms, Old Hunstanton - good to spend an hour, The Lodge, Old Hunstanton - very good food.

What a fantastic week! Amazing weather, how lucky we've been. Our first time in North Norfolk and we love everything about it. Fantastic beaches and walks with our dogs, your beautiful cottage has exceeded our expectations and we'd love to visit again, thank you.

Little Star is a beautiful cottage a lot of love has been put into the decoration and accessories. Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable and modern with a twist of cottage shabby chic! I would definitely go back again, the weather could have been better but the log burner made up for this (kindling needed to get this going but not provided). The village of Ringstead is lovely with a fantastic shop full of hidden treasures and the Gin Trap is cosy and great for food.

The cottage is amazing, obviously a lot of work has been put into the decoration and accessories, we loved everything about it. It was so nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and really don't want to go home. We shall recommend this to all our family and friends. Shame the weather was not good but the log burner made up for that. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

More lovely than anticipated - when i booked the cottage, I had not expected it to be so lovely. There is lots of space for two and the mixture of old cosy rooms and the light and airy modern extension was great. The village is perfect, with a pub and shop - and what a shop- you don't need to take any food along - they have everything. and so close to the coast yet such a quiet spot.

Wonderful week long holiday for us, and the dogs. Little Star is a gem! Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and well located in the quiet village of Ringstead. The village has a great pub and General Store too. The cottage worked well for us and our two labradors, who enjoyed walking on two different beaches almost every day, the snow meant that some days it was only one beach. The wood burner is very efficient :-) and the cottage is lovely and warm. We would definitely go back.

A super cottage - Little Star was the perfect base for our holiday. The garden meant we could bring our dogs and so we're able to explore the glorious coast and walk many miles of sandy beaches. The cottage was very tastefully furnished - smart but not ultra modern, and everything in keeping with the character of the cottage. Highly recommended.

Little star Little heaven - What a lovely week in little star such a homely and stylish cottage. We were so relaxed and comfortable it was so hard to leave. Having a bath and looking up to see The Plough was magical. The bed was heavenly and made getting up hard but we had many beaches to walk and visits to the local pub (The Gin Trap) for lovely food and luscious gin! We would love to come back soon but so it seems does everyone as this Little Star is fully booked for so long - a true testimony to its charm.

Beautiful Cottage - Perfect Short Break. Little Star outshone our expectations in every way. Its in a perfect village location with the Gin Trap Inn about 10 minutes walk away. Beautifully decorated throughout and very clean. We felt at home immediately as its such a welcoming, cozy place. Fantastic bathroom with a freestanding bath and also a good powerful shower. We plan to return very soon and would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage and Norfolk Hideaways.

Such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage -perfect for our first family holiday with our 10 week old little boy. We have had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage. Very cosy after some blustery walks on the beach. Recommend the Beach Cafe and the Golden Fleece in Wells and the Rose and Crown in Snettisham for food, all excellent and very dog friendly. Sadly The Gin Trap was closed for refurbishment (but gives us an excuse to return!)

Little Star is a beautiful holiday cottage - fabulous cottage - very tastefully decorated and comfortable, with everything anyone could want provided, though the stairs aren’t for the physically challenged or faint hearted. Very well located at the edge of the village, easy walking distance to the pub and shop, and a short drive to the nearest beach. A perfect place for a couple to stay with their dog and explore the North Norfolk coast and villages.

Relaxing stay at little star

A very relaxing stay at little star in Ringstead village. The cottage is in a good location with an excellent pub with in a five minute walking distance. The cottage is packed with caricature from traditional wood floors and beams, and a wood burning fire. All in all a beautiful cosy cottage and a very relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend the Little Star.

This was a great little cottage to stay in with a local pub/restaurant and store in the village. Plenty of walking all around the area. A few miles either side of the village are other little villages with great pubs too. A mile from the beaches and the North Norfolk coast.
An ideal location to stay in. Little Star lived up to its name a quaint cottage with all everything you would need for your stay. Car
parking was a plus too. Would definitely choose this cottage again when staying in North Norfolk

Little Star is a homely and comfortable cottage, in a delightful and well located village being 5 minutes drive to Hunstanton. For those with dogs, Old Hunstanton beach provides perfect walking terrain and the dog friendly beaches at Brancaster and Holkham are also highly recommended. The village has an amazing dog friendly pub (The Gin Trap Inn) - great menu and friendly staff with the bonus of an extensive gin list - just as well Little Star is just round the corner!!
